The Egg was developed by a licensed massage therapist, in a clinical environment, who early in his career was experiencing hand pain. After researching the problem, he found that a message therapist on average had a career of approximately 7 years. The primary reason for this was hand pain.

The Egg's advantage is that it is a Double Healer. First it's ergonomically shaped handle heals the therapist by reducing stress on the thumb and related joints. Also it alleviates pressure on the median and Ulnar nerves.
